M2OpenERP Migration Component

Is a Joomla Component helping to migrate an exported data (eg. Excel file, or CSV file) to create XML file. And then import that data into OpenERP or Odoo later on. This component definitely helps to reduce work complexity and increase convenience in data migration. How to use MOpenERP Migration

1. After installing M OpenERP Migration, go to Components >>> M OpenERP Migration

 

2. Go to Control Panel

 

3. Then, you will be at the setting form

• Host : the hostname to determine a database eg. localhost
• Port : a point to communicate to server eg. 5432
• Database : OpenERP database
• User : OpenERP user
• Password : OpenERP password

 

4. After saving, you will see a setting page

• Source: database that you want to select files to migrate into OpenERP
• Destination: OpenERP database. Please note that both databases need to be equal.
  Must be same data as in the image below

5. After get it all done. Click at GetXML, you will get a .zip file
