At present time, many business use technology instead of human beings. Using up-to-date technology helps to reduce human errors, and to improve accuracy and swift. Even commerce, communication, data collection, services providing on a website are also involved cutting-edge innovations to boost conveniency in our lives.

And today we are going to talk about one notable project that makes our lives easier -- Firebase.

Firebase is a backend service and one-stop platform for application developer. It was developed on a fully equipped website platform with high efficiency for application developers. Moreover, the Firebase was developed under additional qualification that allows developer to connect with their requirements.

The Firebase Inc. was founded by Andrew Lee and James Tamplin in 2011. Their foremost product was a real time database using API to help developers in collecting and syncing information. Later, Google had bought the project in 2014.

Google had bought Firebase business and has developed its capability from storage backend to one-stop platform for application developer (iOS, Android, Web support). Plus, it also supports almost every services that application developers need.

Firebase Analytics: Unlimited free data analytics service from Google Analytics technology

Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
Formerly known as Google Cloud Messaging (GCM). A free unlimited messenger. According to Google, the FCM sends more than 1.7 hundred thousand messages per day.

Firebase Storage: Storagee service to keep images, videos, or big sized files from user’s application. Located on Google Cloud Storage

Firebase Remote Config Remote service to update application’s configuration setting. (eg. A game needed to constantly stabilize) Can be used along with Firebase Analytics to categorize users.

Crashlytics Formerly known as Firebase Crash Reporting. A crash reporting service of applications that support both iOS and Android.

Firebase Test Lab for Android: Formerly known as Cloud Test Lab. A service released last year that allows developer to remotely test an Android application on a real hardware

Firebase Notifications: Notification service that allows developers to send notification to users via FCM. To draw back users to an application. (eg. Item dropping notification in a game)


Firebase Dynamic Links:
URL service linking to different destination following users’ devices or qualifications. (eg. Users from different origin countries click on a same URL but it links different sites.)

Firebase Invites: Contact invitation system with referral features that benefits the inviter

Firebase App Indexing: Formerly known as Google App Indexing. Helps Google Search to find results on the application.

In conclusion, Firebase is a backend and platform that covers all services. Almost every services of Firebase are free of charge without using limit except 4 services as follow: Test Lab, Storage, Realtime Database, Hosting. Those cost a bit, however; there are also many free packages for normal usage.
